Riverbend Farm will be at Dexter Lake Farmers Market this Sunday, July 29! They offer corn, fruit pies, and blueberries. For those of you who don't know Annette Pershern of Riverbend Farm, she is a long-time local farmer and an artisan of the kitchen. She plans on providing a range of her pies and other baked items as well as local, organic sweet corn!

Coming up in August:
Lorenza Tzompaxtle and Selena Leres. This mother-daughter team, along with Lorenza's husband Guadencio Leres, are known as Small Farm Project. The group is well-known at the Dexter Lake Farmer's Market for their delicious late-bearing strawberries, in season during August and September. We have been assured that Small Farm Project will return this season.

Many of us love to eat at PizzAldo's when we come to the market. But sometimes we have to share a favorite food with the outside world, and right now PizzAldo is in demand at several festivals and celebrations. We are missing them at the market! Pam and Donaldo assure us that they will be back on August 19.
We plan on having hot corn on the cob on sale for those who come to market with good appetites!

Dexter Cheese Maker a Local Treasure
We have been fortunate to continue this year with the artisan goat cheese of Sherry Reyna. Below she is pictured with Kathy Jenness of Lowell. Ferns Edge Dairy is just east of the Farmers Market site on highway 58, so we are lucky to have her premium local products.
