This Sunday, August 12 at the lake, Dexter Lake Farmer's Market will feature:
  • corn
  • blueberries
  • local, organic lamb and lamb products
  • fruit smoothies - strawberry, mixed berry and other flavors
  • pizza from PizzAldo's wood fired oven
  • fruit pies
  • cookies
  • preserves
  • farm fresh eggs
and more!

Pictured here is Phil Robbins of Robbins Rock Farm in Dexter. He has participated in the market for three seasons, but his delicious smoothies are new to us. Phil has special smoothie recipes that combine fresh and frozen fruit. The smoothies are icy cold and delicious. Try one on your next visit to Dexter Lake Farmer's Market!

Gail Wingard Gould, of Cheviot Hill Sheep Farm, is back with us this season selling her frozen lamb, lamb products, and other farm products this season. Gail previously sold with us in 2010. Visit her this Sunday, try a delicious lamb sausage, and take home some local, organic lamb chops for dinner. Gail is pictured here with her daughter Robin, who came to help last Sunday.

We are all enjoying the pies, cookies, and other bakery treats as well as corn, blueberries and other high-quality products from Annette Pershern of Riverbend Farms. Janine of C&M Heirloom Organics is Annette's talented baker, and Janine and Cameron will carry the bakery items at their booth if Annette must be absent from market this summer.

We appreciate all of our vendors who make the market a great experience and provide us with delicious, healthy, naturally-grown local food. We also appreciate our customers! Without you guys, Dexter Lake Farmer's Market could not exist. Come regularly and tell your friends. We hope to see you soon.
